National Medical Education and Training Center (NMETC) is located in West Bridgewater, Mass., only 35 minutes south of Boston. NMETC offers training in prehospital emergency medicine and medical care through our EMT and paramedic training programs.

The paramedic training program is offered on-site and as a Web-based, interactive hybrid program that utilizes the latest technology, a challenging curriculum, experienced instructors and skills training opportunities to teach you how to become a paramedic. You'll have the opportunity to partake in both a clinical as well as a field internship, gaining the skills you will need to be prepared on the job.
Students of our EMT training programs may be eligible to pursue a career in public safety and may be utilized in the police, fire or EMS fields. EMT training program curriculum will cover anatomy, physiology, patient assessment survey and triage, bleeding control, treatment of shock, oxygen therapy, and more.

Online Availability

To accommodate students' busy schedules, we also offer an advanced EMT program online as well as an online paramedic program. Today's student is often juggling multiple responsibilities that might include a family or another job — that is why NMETC offers online training in both the EMT and paramedic fields. Now you can have the opportunity to earn the certifications employers prefer.

Student Testimonials

  • I can now say, having immersed myself in the program completely, NMETC's model is the future of optimal healthcare education delivery models.

  • The instructor/coordinator, is one of the finest teachers I have ever had. He uses intellectual modeling, experience of self and others, and visual aids of all sorts to make the intangible…tangible.

  • It was an honor to be a part of your program. I would not be a licensed paramedic if it were not for NMETC.
